fixing the price

A series of three related site-specific solo performances, examining and interrogating sterotypical women’s roles. One used the framework of ballroom dancing with a dance lesson as soundtrack; in another a manipulative conjurer made a house of cards with polaroid photos of the audience;  a third compared the stereotypical image of Mount Rundle with the equally ubiquitous Matterhorn, while examining ideas of labour and gender, using signs and rubbble from the street outside the gallery.
